Petition to Utah Legislature to Enforce Article I, Section 29 – Utah’s Marriage Law
I, the undersigned, petition the Utah State Legislature to support legislative action suggested in The Utah Resolution of 2014 to uphold the states’ right to defend its Constitutional laws. I urge the legislature to take action to enforce Article I, Section 29 of the Utah State Constitution under the provisions of the U.S. Constitution and the Federal Defense of Marriage Act, which gives the states the right to define Marriage and Family.
