“See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.” – Matthew 18:10

As the holiday season approaches, we at CAAP/Mission Education are reflecting on the blessings we’ve received and the incredible opportunities we’ve had to make a difference. Over the past year, with your help, we’ve worked to support Royal ISD, a small, mostly rural school district with high poverty rates and a significant Hispanic population. This district holds a special place in our hearts, and we’ve been blessed to make an impact in various ways:

  • Elementary School Grant: Provided essential funding to enhance classroom resources.
  • STEM Program Sponsorship: Encouraged hands-on learning and innovation among students.
  • Teacher Convocation and Recognition Gala: Supported with a sponsorship. Celebrated and supported the hardworking educators who shape young lives.
  • Community Event: Supported with a sponsorship
  • Pencil Drive: Ensured students had the basic tools they needed to succeed.

However, there’s still so much to do. Royal ISD comprises five schools, and it’s our mission to help meet the nonacademic needs of every one of them. With the holiday season upon us, we aim to raise funds to provide another grant before Christmas break—offering supplies, clear backpacks, or whatever the schools need most. This initiative is part of our commitment to being the hands and feet of Jesus, demonstrating love and care to children and families who need it most.

Your Support Can Make a Difference

As Thanksgiving approaches, we are reminded of the power of gratitude and generosity. Would you join us in making good on our promise to support all five schools? By donating today, you’ll help bring hope and resources to students who might otherwise go without.

Our goal is to present this next grant before Christmas break. Together, we can ensure that Royal ISD students and teachers enter the new year with the tools and encouragement they need to thrive.

Please consider contributing today. No gift is too small, and every dollar brings us closer to making a lasting impact. You’ll receive an update after the check presentation, so you can see the difference your support has made.

The above pictures were taken during our pencil drive in April of this year.  The students were so excited and grateful to receive the pencils. It goes to show that small gifts can have a big impact.

If you would like to help Mission: Education in our efforts to help at-risk children and needy schools, please consider making a generous gift today. Even a donation of $25 or $50 would make a big difference!

Mission: Education seeks to act as the hands and feet of Jesus in America’s at-risk classrooms. Won’t you help us give these children the tools they need to succeed?

Let’s come together as a community to spread love, hope, and generosity this holiday season. Thank you for being a blessing to others and for partnering with us in this meaningful work.
