The following is for educational purposes only. CAAP is non-partisan and does not endorse or support any candidate for elected office.

The American people have spoken loud and clear.

On Tuesday, President Trump won his second term in office. It was a historic win for many reasons, not least of all because of everything that has occurred since his first term.

Pres. Trump has gone through many trials to get to this moment. He survived two assassination attempts on his way to the White House, and it seems clear to me that God’s hands are on him in this journey. Of course, I will pray for his safety and that God grants him wisdom in his office – a prayer I offer for all our leaders, regardless of party.

And let’s not forget about the negativity and vitriol that has marked this election period. A biased media has encouraged angry, partisan rhetoric. Sometimes, it troubles me to think that there are people who have been so blinded by this partisanship that they hurl insults at Trump and those who voted for him. Words like “racist” and “bigot” are tossed around so casually that they’ve begun to lose their meaning.

But it’s time to put this behind us.

The establishment knows that this coming presidential term is going to be different. They realize it won’t be business as usual this time around. They worry that Trump really will be cleaning house. That fear has made them even more willing to sow division and anger in the public.

Are we really going to let these people destroy our sense of national unity?

We have a great opportunity to put these years of anger and division behind us and get to work on a better future for our country. This election represented a strong rejection of the Left’s agenda. Working together, we can finally start undoing the harm caused to faith and family over the past several years.

Let’s not forget that – in addition the the election of President Trump – the people also changed the make-up of the House and Senate. While the political strategists tried to make the campaign about personalities, the people chose to vote based on policies. They rejected an economic policy that led to massive inflation and job losses. They made it clear that biological men have no place in women’s spaces or sports. They were not swayed by appeals to allow taxpayer-funded abortions or sex-change operations.

It has been a difficult time for so many families, including my own. Those promoting a leftist agenda seem to have forgotten that most people simply want to live the American dream, enjoying their rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. But when our values are under attack and we struggle to do simple things like buy groceries or put gas in our cars, we will not stay quiet.

And so, on Tuesday, we spoke loudly. But now that the election is over, it’s time to get to work on healing our country and making a better future for everyone.

CAAP is a Christian organization, and we promote Christian values – including forgiveness. It’s time to put that into action.

We’re willing to work with anyone if it means advancing the cause of Biblical values. During his last term, we worked with President Trump to achieve landmark prison reform. I’m very excited about what we’ll be able to accomplish when he takes office again.

It does not matter who you voted for if you are willing to work with your neighbors to make our country better. We can put our differences behind us and focus on what really matters: putting America on the right path.

CAAP is ready to be part of the effort to heal our country. If you’re ready to join us, please consider making a donation to CAAP . Your help will allow us to expand our outreach.
