Judge Brett Kavanaugh is a textualist who has shown support for religious freedom and the right to life in his opinions. A former clerk for Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, Kavanaugh served in the White House under George W. Bush before being appointed to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Though some in the Senate may try to smear and distort Judge Kavanaugh, there is no justification for opposing his confirmation.
