When you are out in the world, working to defend Biblical values, it is important to take time for introspection and inspiration. At CAAP, we have a heart for ministry, and we strive to provide opportunities for fellowship whenever possible.

That’s why I’m excited to announce our upcoming Journey to Joy Ladies Brunch. The event is themed around Matthew 16:15 and will include Dr. Deborah Owens, CAAP’s Executive Director, as the featured speaker. Dr. Owens will discuss the roadmap to knowing who you are with a focus on Christian tradition and teaching.

The Journey to Joy Ladies Brunch will take place at 11a.m. on Thursday, June 23rd, at Palacio Maria in Katy, Texas. For more information, you can visit our web page. Tickets are $50 each and can be bought online via credit card, PayPal, or bank draft (both e-check and savings payments). Please note that we are still in the process of our official name change, so your receipt will say “Coalition of African American Pastors.”

Don’t forget to wear your favorite Derby hat and attire!

For those who would like to do more to help with this event, we are also offering sponsorship opportunities for the Journey to Joy Ladies Brunch. We have a variety of options, from full tables to complimentary tickets for women who would not otherwise be able to attend. To learn more about sponsoring the event, check out this page.

With so much political tension revolving around the definition of womanhood and the conflict between Biblical teaching and radical feminist politics, we think that the women of our ministry could use a day of joy and inspiration. I hope that you will be able to join us for the Journey to Joy Ladies Brunch!
