Today we honor mothers, grandmothers, and those who take on a mother’s role.
To be a mother is to give of yourself willingly, knowing that some sacrifices may never be known or appreciated for many years (if ever). Our role is one of nurturing and guidance. We are the first teachers, passing on Biblical wisdom along with more prosaic things, like the ABCs and table manners.
