Too often, people tend to assume that those who work for a higher cause don’t need encouragement or support.
They overlook how difficult it can be to shoulder the sorrows and difficulties of others. Or how stressful it can be to deal with the administrative and logistical end of the Lord’s work. Not only do you need to be there for those in pain, those who have lost their way, and those in need, but you also have to keep the lights on, file government forms, and make sure the roof doesn’t leak.
It’s a tough job. Working for a spiritual reward doesn’t mean that you wouldn’t appreciate some recognition here on earth too.
That’s why CAAP is sending out a big “thank you” to all the pastors and ministry workers as we observe Pastor’s Appreciation Month.
At CAAP, we owe a debt of gratitude to the many pastors who have helped us in our work – whether by sharing our videos and petitions or through their prayers and spiritual comfort.
Who among us hasn’t turned to a pastor and found support and solace? It’s time to show our appreciation. This month, thank your pastor for all he or she does. Maybe you can even offer to help lift some of their burdens in return. Let’s do our best to demonstrate a giving heart for those who care for us in the Lord.
